Traditional medicine (also called ethno-medicine) is indigenous based on traditional medicinal knowledge systems and passed down by word of mouth from generation to within the particular community, especially along familial lines as well through informal apprenticeships; which largely undocumented. For a long time Kenya lacked policies, institutional arrangements legislation medicine. Years later that scenario has changed, country now an extensive policy framework medicine, comprising avalanche policies subject. It also corresponding legislative several pieces are scattered over sectors line ministries touching one or other aspect New have been made, new promulgated, some then existing amended. The earlier situation, already stated was perhaps attributable nascent stage at time. With effluxion time, there marked developments in Kenya’s , arrangements, Notably however, although effective operation these together with can extent promote impact positively they bedeviled lack coordination harmonization. This paper makes recommendations if implemented provide much-needed harmonization ensure management development
